We are looking for a Performance & Energy Attribute Lead Engineer, based at our engineering center in Coventry.


In this position you will be responsible for benchmarking, generating, tracking and reporting vehicle PE (Performance and Energy) targets from concept stage to engineering sign-off. You will create benchmark reports and assist in the definition of system target requirements.


Responsibilities:

  •  Lead P&E Attribute activities for all company programs
  • Track, Report, and Commit to program P&E targets
  • Translate Subjective Vehicle-level Requirements into Objective System-level Requirements
  • Agree and Cascade P&E Vehicle Level Targets to Principal Engineers
  • Working with the P&E team, identify and support benchmarking studies, including authoring reports and presenting to Management
  • Assist the P&E team in the definition of the System Requirements together with the Requirements Engineers
  • Collaborate with the P&E Team to produce robust Virtual & Physical drive cycles
  • Support Virtual & Physical Verification for development and sign-off activities

Requirements

Qualifications/ Experience

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with vehicle development and delivery
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in the field of P&E or related roles
  • Skilled at engaging and collaborating with international colleagues & customers
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels
  • Managing workload in a fast-paced environment with potential for changing priorities
  • Working experience of Microsoft Office products including SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • ILR to live and work in the UK. REE do not offer work permits, visas or sponsorships
