Senior Motion Control Software Engineer

As Senior Motion Control Software Engineer your role will be to review, specify and develop Control Software Requirements of our REE Center, Controller ECU in collaboration with Control Team, System Team, Hardware and external partners. This role involves review, creation of Requirements, specification and documentation in both the Application and Base Software.
Responsibilities
- Define, design and deliver control functions including requirements, interfaces and algorithm components
- Develop Simulink algorithms for code generation
- Conduct component testing using MIL and SIL techniques
- C-Code generation
- Testing your SW component within the system on the HIL bench
- SW component verification & validation against requirements
- Design of actuation automotive mechanical systems
- Answer specification while meeting / exceeding safety and quality standards
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- MEng or PhD in Mechanical or Control Engineering (or related)
- Demonstrable relevant experience is needed in the automotive industry actuation units control systems
- Proficiency in motor control of different machines, control and estimation theory
- Strong knowledge of Simulink/state flow for real time, within automotive applications
- Experience with embedded coder for c code generation
- Experience working in the automotive industry or equivalent
- Vehicle network communication knowledge like CAN CANFD and Flexray
- Familiarity with AUTOSAR Application Layer and RTE
- Understanding of V model techniques, ASPICE and ISO26262 functional safety
- Embedded C programming knowledge
