About The Position

REE Automotive (Nasdaq: REE) is changing the electric mobility and aims at becoming the standard for EVs. REE’s disruptive corner technology enables a completely flat and modular chassis that supports all mission-specific EVs in the spaces of commercial vehicles and people movers.

 

We are looking for a highly motivated, organized and dedicated assistant controller to join our finance team at our HQ in Kibbutz Glil-Yam (Herzliya). This is a great opportunity for a post-internship candidate to take a key role in the day-to-day tasks of our financial department and gain experience at a multi-national high-growth organization traded on NASDAQ.


Responsibilities:


·        Support and execute month, quarter and annual close, reporting and results analysis.

·        Assist with preparation of financial statements according to US GAAP.

·        Implement and oversee financial, accounting and SOX processes and policies.

·        Prepare tax filings.

·        Support and cooperate with AP team, FP&A, foreign finance teams and business partners.

·        Cooperate with external auditors.

·        Assist with ad-hoc projects as necessary.

Requirements

·        Certified Public Accountant in Israel.

·        Internship at one of the Big-4 accounting firms (assurance or technical accounting departments).

·        Up to 2 years of post-internship experience.

·        Experience with publicly traded companies and SOX processes – a must.

·        Fluent English and ability to work effectively with foreign subsidiaries – a must.

·        Proficient in Microsoft Excel – a must.

·        Experience with auditing multinational hi-tech companies – an advantage.

·        Knowledge in accounting and reporting according to US GAAP.

·        Great communication and inter-personal skills.

·        Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines and strive in a fast-paced work environment.

·        Highly motivated, independent, quick learner, well organized and willing to take new responsibilities.
