REE is seeking a Motion and Comfort Performance lead to support REE’s rapid growth

The Motion and Comfort attribute lead will define our vehicle dynamics and NVH performance of all REE products both internally and externally to ensure an integrated product that effectively delivers satisfying, safe, secure, and connected vehicles.

Responsibilities:

  • Define & specify comfort and motion targets, incorporating NVH, ride & handling, subjective feel, and emergency behaviour
  • Liaise and cascade targets to engineering teams
  • Define virtual and physical DV test
  • Drive, oversee and approve test results and confirm final commodity performance internal conformance
  • Support homologation and certification teams to achieve legal compliance 
  • Work cross-functionally following the V-cycle
  • Liaise with internal and external system and commodity leads to ensure correct features are engineered to meet the performance specification
  • Close working relationship with the CAE environment to track, assess and drive the delivery of vehicle design solutions
  • Chair cross-commodity performance reviews
  • Work with external suppliers to develop and achieve specifications when required

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in automotive and commercial vehicle Engineering or demonstrable experience
  • Significant automotive and commercial vehicle industry knowledge and experience in dynamics & NVH performance delivery within an OEM or 1st tier, ideally with in vehicle development delivery capability
  • Lead level of experience in automotive and commercial vehicle -standard tools used for DV planning and management
  • Good/advanced all-round engineering knowledge of EV systems, functional safety testing, DFMEAs, simulation tools, HiL test, and development
  • Having experience with EV, by-wire systems, and knowledge of Functional Safety testing is highly desirable
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to plan and pivot, equally
  • Excellent communication skills and cross-functional working ability
  • Strong interpersonal skills required to manage relationships with colleagues both in Israel, the UK, and the ROW
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to travel, when required
  • Clean UK Driving Licence
  • ILR to live and work in the UK. REE do not offer work permits, visas or sponsorships
