For our next steppingstone, we are looking to hire an experienced VP, North America Operations

The VP NA Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operational and administrative functions of a company. This person will oversee the organization’s internal affairs, including building teams, supporting the creation of new businesses. The VP NA will also help develop a culture that aligns with the company’s mission and vision, communicate policies to employees and implement the plans of management.


The VP NA Operations will oversee the business side of the organization’s operations. Their duties and responsibilities include:

·      Identifying and setting strategic and short-term performance and growth goals

·      Creating, implementing, assessing, and improving business plans, strategies, processes, and procedures

·      Leading and motivating teams to increase performance and improve results

·      Coordinating with the heads of quality, Advanced Manufacturing Engineering [AME], supply chain, while working seamlessly with sales, finance, IT, development engineering, and human resources departments

·      Creating an enabling work environment and positive company culture

·      Measuring performance of departments, products and services and recommend and drive improvement actions and strategies

·      Reporting performance of the business to the COO, management, and other stakeholders

·      Building and managing relationships with suppliers, vendors, partners, and clients    


·   Will require at least a bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field, as well ideally in business administration.

 ·     A postgraduate degree or professional certifications in their field.

·      A practical knowledge of marketing, financial analysis, information technology

·      Proven experience in a senior management role

·      In-depth knowledge of managing multi-disciplinary teams, including experience of human resources, marketing, strategic planning, and corporate finance

·      Ability to manage comprehensive budgets and business operations 

·      Exceptional leadership and organizational skills

·      Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills

·      Proficiency in business development

·      Ability to work with data analysis tools, accounting software and industry-specific technologies

·      Have at least ten years of experience in a managerial position

·      Essential to have experience in diverse aspects of their company’s operations, including finance, sales, human resources, and product development

·      Experience in supporting an investor relations team


Personal/Technical Skills:

·      Be a proven coach and capable of building and developing a team

·      Be able to explain and demonstrate the value of leadership as different from management

·      Be fluent in the processes of product development and launch systems and tools


·      Microsoft Office (all applications)

·      Knowledge of PLM soft ware

·      Experience in ERP, especially SAP is an advantage



·      Be conversant in advanced manufacturing concepts such as single piece flow, lean manufacturing

·      Process design both manufacturing and business systems

·      The practical application of 4.0.
