About The Position

REE is seeking a Technical Writer to support REE’s rapid growth and development activities.


•Lead the development of technical documentation such as product guides, technical requirements, and feature descriptions with cross-functional teams

•Define graphic requirements such as charts, diagrams, images, videos, and other visual aids to support messaging and manage their creation

•Obtain feedback from internal and external customers for continued development, ensuring documentation is always up-to-date

•Write and prepare material according to established guidelines and standards

•Ensure accuracy via comprehensive research, interviews, validation, and peer reviews

•Ownership of process and deliverables, identifying continuous improvement opportunities, establishing processes to address and implementing with key stakeholders


•Bachelor’s Degree in communications, technical writing, engineering or technology

•Minimum 5 years relevant experience, ideally with experience in the creation of documentation for hardware or software products in the automotive industry

•Passion for excellence and self-motivated to shape the future of electric mobility

•Excellent communication, writing, grammatical and interpersonal skills; an ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise fashion

•Superior Word and PowerPoint skills and experience managing tasks and information flow using cloud based collaboration software

•Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment

•Ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors, to drive alignment and collaboration

•Strong customer Focus, attention to detail, ability to solve complex problems and to work with ambiguity
