REE is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support REE’s rapid growth.

The Role

  • Support the design and implementation of a new UK payroll process following a period of using an outsourced solution
  • Provide advice, guidance and on payroll queries, policies, procedures, and systems to both managers and colleagues to deliver a great colleague experience
  • Actively manage and process payroll data, acting within agreed Service Level Agreements
  • Handle sensitive and confidential data and pay transactions that require accuracy and discretion while maintaining a high level of professional confidentiality and accuracy at all times
  • Monitor and track payroll related activities to make sure that these are communicated in plenty of time and are being delivered on time and to the required expectations
  • Support year end payroll activities and reporting
  • Update and maintain the HRIS to ensure that colleagues data is up to date and accurate
  • Act as a member of the colleague and business facing payroll team, take calls and resolve people, process and system type queries
  • Work with the support desk and systems and solutions team to resolve colleague’s queries that need support from the rest of the team
  • Resolve problems or shortfalls in service delivery quickly and strive for continuous process improvement
  • Provide generalist Payroll administration support as required


  • Excellent IT skills, Microsoft office
  • Flexible team player
  • Extensive payroll knowledge with strong analytical skills
  • High degrees of initiative, accuracy, efficiency and attention to detail
  • Concern for deadline and quality requirements
  • Influencing skills and engagement with diverse and wide-spread stakeholders
  • Ability to multitask, work to deadlines and prioritise under pressure
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Previous experience of implementing HRIS & Payroll Systems
