About The Position

PREE is revolutionizing e-Mobility from the ground-up. Our disruptive REE-corners and fully flat, ultra-modular EV platforms are set to become the standard for electric vehicles. Providing complete design freedom to build mission specific EVs, EVs ‘Powered by REE’ will provide maximum room for passengers, cargo and batteries with the smallest footprint and help reduce carbon emissions for a greener world.

We are currently looking for an experienced Practical Hardware Engineer to support REE’s rapid growth. The position will be based in the UK to support the team in the electronic system and ECU level, and to help the Israel team in designing ECU electronics.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in cooperation with hardware and software engineering functions to aid in debugging
  • Provide regular feedback and reporting to the Manager 
  • Conducting hands on technical
  • Ability to debug and operate lab equipment
  • Knowledge of the conducting component soldering
  • Designing and implanting electrical vehicle wiring
  • Mechanical assemblies of electronics enclosures

 

Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • 2-5 years’ experience as a Hardware Engineer
  • At least 4 years of experience within the automotive industry
  • Experience in digital and analogue
  • Software integration
  • Ability to perform ECU debug and tests
  • Support vehicle ECU installation
  • Knowledge in automotive electronics and ECU design
  • Knowledge in EMC radiated noise
  • Knowledge in lab equipment (scope, logic …)
  • Self-motivated and self-study ability
  • Excellent communication skills and a good team player
  • UK Citizenship
