About The Position

REE is revolutionizing e-Mobility from the ground-up. Our disruptive REE-corners and fully flat, ultra-modular EV platforms are set to become the standard for electric vehicles. Providing complete design freedom to build mission specific EVs, EVs ‘Powered by REE’ will provide maximum room for passengers, cargo and batteries with the smallest footprint and help reduce carbon emissions for a greener world.

We are currently looking for an experienced Project Engineer to support REE’s rapid growth. As Project Engineer you will be responsible for your own project, reporting to the Chief Engineer and Interfacing with Program team, Product team and with Lead Engineers from all functions. Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:


  • Technical coordination of all project elements working with engineering, program and product teams
  • Plan and facilitate project requirements and vehicle attributes
  • React promptly and effectively to changing internal and external stakeholder requirements
  • Anticipate any potential project risks, identifying and establishing corrective actions
  • Produce deliverables on-time to stakeholders’ requirements
  • Effectively analyse customer and internal changes, including feasibility study
  • Produce clear, focused, and understandable explanations for change requests 
  • Track issues and changes and participate in change management process when required
  • Participate in DVP, DFM, V&V, Quality history reviews, robustness studies discussions
  • Track tasks and issues against the project timing plan
  • Assist with design verification and sign-off reporting
  • Apply specific technical skills as required to support internal and external stakeholders
  • Undertake special projects as required
  • Contribute to continuous improvement activities
  • Write reports and present progress at project meetings
  • Conduct benchmarking studies to determine best practices/ future trends
  • Plan projects or subtasks so they may be tracked and presented
  • Attend various meetings and action/communicate instructions
  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve problems
  • Independently determine approach and assigned tasks


Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering is preferable
  • A minimum of 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Self-starter with strong critical thinking skills
  • Experience with one or more feature-based modelling 3D CAD systems
  • Effective communicator and great influencer
  • Good leadership and decision-making skills
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changes
  • Capable of owning tasks and projects with minimal supervision
  • Capable of confidently leading meetings
  • A cross functional mind set, capable of working with engineering, program and product teams
  • Flexibility to take on other tasks as required 
  • Managing workload in a fast-paced environment with potential for changing priorities 
  • Right to work and live in the UK without any restrictions or requirements
